Director Biography - Natalia Curea

Born and raised in Moldova, Natalia Curea is a film director and screenwriter, known for Hot Seat (2017), Phenomenal Woman (2018), and Jump (2021). She studied Film and Video Production at City College of New York and graduated magna cum laude. Her recent short film "Jump" has won numerous awards including Best Director, Best Drama, and Best Short.

Her style as a writer-director lies in character-driven, dramatic storytelling that explores the complexity of human nature, featuring protagonists with inner conflicts. Curea presently has feature film and TV scripts in development.
