Director Biography - Ibrahim Hamid Koroma

Ibrahim Hamid Koroma also known as Director Wizik, is a Film Director, Writer, Cinematographer and a Film Editor from Freetown, Sierra Leone(West Africa, Africa). Ibrahim started Filmmaking in 2016; a few months after completing his High School. Choosing Filmmaking as a Career has to be one of the Craziest decisions he ever made, taking into consideration the little amount of people who excel in any of the filmmaking careers in his country; thus, the learning process was crazy too.
The best solution was self teaching and YouTube became his dear teacher. Spending hours learning, brought sleepless nights.
His directorial Debut came in 2018 and the whole movie thing was new to him and he had to collaborate with some friends, who were into Filmmaking making. And that was how Run( a shot movie was born)
Fast Forward to 2022, he has already Directed a couple of Short Films and also got his first feature in filmmaking called Taxi. Making Movies is the only thing he finds pleasure in doing and when he is not making movies, he mostly tries to literally kill myself for not doing what he loves to do.
