許願還願 Make a wish and fulfill it

三年疫情之後，四川省許多村鎮紛紛開始恢復傳統文化活動——鄉村廟會。千百年來，村民們通常以請戲班唱戲的方式來酬謝各種神靈並通過問卦托夢、許願還願等感應方式與神靈互動。在香火繚繞中，祈禱自己的世俗利益得以實現，同時也獲得心靈的慰籍。
Three years epidemic later, many villages and towns in Sichuan Province began to resume traditional cultural activities-Temple fairs.For thousands of years, villagers usually thanked various gods by inviting opera troupe to sing and through asking the divinatory symbols to dream, making and returning wishes with inductive ways to interact with the gods.In the clouds of incense and fire,pray for their own worldly interests to be realized, but also obtain spiritual comfort.

Director Biography - Gang Zhao

趙剛，紀錄片導演，中國電視藝術家協會會員。其主要作品情況：《民間戲班》（2013年）榮獲2013第56屆德國萊比錫國際紀錄片電影節評委會大獎。《上書院》（2010年）獲2016香港華語紀錄片節短片季軍；入選2010年加拿大新亞洲獨立影像展。《冬日》（2004年）入圍第十三屆法國FIPA國際電影節；2005年在美國五所大學巡回展播。
Zhao Gang, a documentary film director and a member of Chinese Artists Association. documentary film. Filmography: A Folk Troupe (2013) FIPRESCI PRIZE of 56th International Leipzig Festival for Documentary Film, Germany. Shangshu Academy（2010）was selected for New Asia Film Festival（Cinevolution Media Arts Society in Canada). The sun in winter (2004) was selected for 13th French FIPA International Movie and Television Festival.
劉莉，紀實攝影師。《鄉村戲班》攝影專題曾榮獲中國民族影像志金收藏獎；2016年“徐肖冰杯”中國紀實攝影獎；2019年侯登科紀實攝影獎提名獎等。
Li Liu, a documentary photographer.The photography theme of "Village Troupe" has won the Golden Collection Award of China National Photography Record; 2016 "Xu Xiaobing Cup" China Documentary Photography Award; Nominated for Hou Denke Documentary Photography Award in 2019.

中國鄉村延續了千百年的民間多神信仰。無論當今人類社會如何發展，文明如何轉型，或許我們可以從這些傳統的、底層的、近乎原始的信仰中獲得某種行之有效的反思與精神依托。
The folk belief of polytheism has continued for thousands of years in the Chinese countryside.No matter how human society develops and how civilization transforms today, perhaps we can get some effective reflection and spiritual support from these traditional, low-level, almost primitive beliefs.
