2nd Runner Up, Best Comedic Performance - Jenna Ivey
June Shaukat and Stephen Teeter have been working on films together for eight years. Stephen is the ideas guy. He can think of no better way to spend his time than connecting with people on set. In addition to “Jenny Studios”, Stephen is writing a post-apocalyptic defensive driver course.
June is a post-production professional, handling the technical side of things, from producing to editing. She directed and produced the award winning short film “Stiletto” (2021) at The University of Texas at Austin, all while getting a second degree in environmental biology. Currently, she is working on a period piece set in the 1940s.
This was our second entry into the Austin 48 Hour Film Project. As with "A Convenient Truth," the script was entirely developed through improv exercises.
