"Jesse McMinn is a multi-talented individual with a passion for music, photography, and videography. His journey began at the young age of 13 when he started playing in punk bands in his hometown of Cape Canaveral, Florida, igniting his love for music even more. Alongside his musical pursuits, Jesse developed a keen interest in photography, video, and film, which led him to explore these creative outlets further.
In the early 2000s, Jesse made the bold move out west to Oregon, where he continued to pursue his artistic interests. He embarked on a musical journey with the post-metal band Ninth Moon Black, touring the West Coast and gaining valuable experiences along the way.
In 2013, Jesse returned to Florida and shifted his focus towards photography and video production. He delved into commercial video work for local companies while also playing music with various Central Florida bands.
Driven by a passion for storytelling, Jesse has set his sights on becoming a documentary filmmaker. His debut short film, "1000 Days In: The Romelia Farms Story," won several awards including the Robert Kurrus Humanitarian Filmmaker Award at The 2024 Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival and Best Documentary Short Award at the 2025 Central Florida Film Festival. With a diverse background in music, photography, and videography, Jesse McMinn continues to explore new creative horizons in his pursuit of the arts.
Jesse currently works and resides on the Space Coast of Florida"
