Hey there! My name is Jamie. I live in Nashville, TN. I stepped away from my nursing career to pursue writing and film fulltime. I filmed two of my screenplays before getting hired to work on set of tv series Women of the Movement in Greenwood, MS as a covid tester. My journey as a nurse wanna be filmmaker has been rewarding while comical at times, giving me more material for writing. I completed a comedy feature screenplay titled Booger Girl after returning home from Mississippi. Show description MADEA meets FORREST GUMP. I also worked on set of Chrisley Knows Best in Nashville, TN as a set medic. My writing is primarily based from true life occurrences which makes writing easier for me. While I mostly write comedic material, I have written several drama screenplays, such as, A Simple Thank You , that was selected as a quarter finalist in BlueCat. Additionally, my tv drama series pilot "Broadway Girl" was selected as Award Winner in Film Crash 2023. I'm hopeful that at least one of my screenplays will get produced. I never realized just how competitive the film industry is. I've had an incredible past five years working on movie sets and meeting extraordinary people in the business. More than anything, I'm truly grateful!
