James is a Melbourne/Naarm, based narrative film director and writer. A graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts (Film & Television), James is often interested in telling stories centred around the exploration of existentialist themes and ideas, with a desire to express them through uniquely interesting characters and vivid worlds. He is also passionate about creating strongly collaborative environments with other filmmakers and creatives as well as challenging the form of film to create engaging and inventive work.

James is currently working on multiple projects in various stages of development including a feature film script.
