Director Statement

To me, 'Jaded' is a film about acceptance; being accepted by your peers, accepting yourself, and most importantly, accepting the process of time and growing up. That's the reason the main character finally decides to blow out her candles⸺she's reached a point of acceptance. This film is a reflection of how I feel about my adolescence as I approach my 18th birthday next month.
