I have had a love of all things movies since my first viewing of Star Wars when I was 8 years old. There was nothing more exciting to me than sitting in a dark theater and being transported away to a different time, place or universe. I loved, still love, the feeling of relating to the characters on screen and being moved by the story I was swept away in. Ever since that day in 1977 I've wanted to put something on screen myself that made the audience feel the way I did, to create characters and stories that changed the way I thought about the world and my place in it.
