I embark on a journey to explore the intricate aspects of human existence. I believe that human life, though strange and often seemingly meaningless, holds profound depths waiting to be explored. The aftermath of the corona lockdown has left a profound impact on us, forcing us into isolation and leading us to question the very foundation of our existence. During the development stage, time was scarce, but our passion and determination drove us forward. With a new team and limited resources, we embraced the challenges presented by the lockdown. We embraced the unconventional approach of "DIY Filmmaking," using what was available to us. Natural light became our ally, as we sought to capture the raw essence of our subjects and their surroundings.
As for the location, we found inspiration in an under-construction student dorm. Transforming it into our canvas was no easy feat, but we overcame the obstacles and brought our vision to life. At the heart of this film is a close friend of mine, hailing from an indigenous culture in Bangladesh. Through his unique perspective, we delve into the diverse habits, relationships, and existential elements that shape our human experience. It is our artistic statement, a reflection on the profound solitude we often face and the ultimate quest to find meaning within it.
"Jaay Jaay Din" seeks to capture the essence of human existence, unraveling the complexities that lie beneath the surface. Through our unconventional approach and intimate storytelling, we hope to provoke introspection and ignite a sense of shared understanding among viewers.
