What would happen if one day the mythical dinosaurs returned and sneaked into school?
What would it be like to see them come out of books and appear in their great majesty, in flesh and blood?
Amazement, disbelief, above all ... fear!
Fear of the unknown, fear of the different, fear of the prejudicial image we have of everything we do not know.
At first, the dinosaurs are huge, impressive, terrifying; then slowly their size is reduced, as the children shorten the distances because they realize that they are not threatened.
Now they are fascinated by the incredible beasts. And the confidence is mutual!
As fear wears off, the size of the dinosaurs also decreases, becoming small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.
Then the children understand that the fear was due only to lack of knowledge and prejudice.
“If you don't know you are afraid, but if you know you are no longer afraid!”. This is the message that children send through their film work.

Director Biography - Giulia Morlacchi

Sono docente di scuola primaria, musicista ed appassionata di ICT.
Negli ultimi anni ho approfondito le tematiche legate ai Disturbi dello Spettro Autistico e ai Disturbi Specifici di Apprendimento sviluppando percorsi e strategie di apprendimento. alternative, con utilizzo della musica e delle ICT. Applico una didattica metadisciplinare per competenze, crossmediale e multisensoriale, con ampio utilizzo delle arti espressive e comunicative. Ho acquisito una ricca esperienza relativa alle attività didattiche di: Digital Storytelling, Realtà virtuale / realtà aumentata, Robotica Educativa, Coding, Modellazione / Stampa 3D, animazione teatrale e pratica musicale. La musica, l'espressione artistica e la multimedialità sono per me canali essenziali di comunicazione e modalità sistematica di approccio in ogni percorso educativo, ai fini di una didattica realmente inclusiva e motivante.
