JACOB'S REQUEST

A mother uncovers the truth regarding the paternity of her young son at a mysterious meeting in a park.

Summary:
'Jacob's Request' is the 1st short film of 'The 'Jacob' Trilogy' short film series. 'Shannon' (Samarah Summers) anxiously makes her way into a park. An unknown messenger (Jason Pfister) retrieves an envelope at a residence and enters into the same park. A mysterious exchange between the two take place until a briefcase containing the envelope is left at a drinking fountain there. As the unknown messenger leaves, 'Shannon' is greeted by her close friend 'Clarissa' (Madeline McCuskey). 'Shannon' is very nervous as she handles the case with the envelope inside. She has doubts about opening the questionable envelope but 'Clarissa' is very supportive and assures her things will be okay. After she finally learns the news she has been so desperately anticipating, she has a hard time understanding it to be true. As she ends the conversation with her friend she realizes that she has to get the case back over to the drinking fountain. She is certain that a guy that 'owes her a favor' will be retrieving the briefcase with the envelope inside.
