Red started practicing moving image at Hanoi Doclab in 2015. Her short film Summer siesta: 6th hour counting from dawn (2017) (curated by Jamie Maxtone-Graham) was exhibited at Fundacion PROA (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and White Chapell (London) following the program of Artists Film International 2019 (nominated by Hanoi DocLab). She’s also a member of AJAR Press, an independent publishing house based in Hanoi that supports underground voices where her practice went toward the act of translation. She took part in “Đường chạy 0.3” (16.01.2019 - 21.01.2019) with Nhung Nguyen Soundawakener and Trang Ly - a group exhibition curated by Phan Anh and Vicky Do. She was one of a few Southeast Asian artists that were chosen to join Animistic Apparatus (Thailand, April 2019) organized by May Adadol Ingawanij, as a filmmaker and a performer. In June 2019, she made her first art residency at Á Space (Hanoi) and coordinated her first solo exhibition Mùng mung. She has practiced organizing mixed experimental music - film - performance programs at Heritage Space since 2018. In late 2019, she began researching contemporary dance/theater production. She has been collaborating with H2Q Art, MORUA, choreographer Ngo Thanh Phuong, Mat Tran Ensembles... Her experiences include different projects such as: Method; L’EGO (Kinergie Studio), X-PROJECT, Sound Barrier, Through the door then…, Eye See Ai,...She was chosen to be a participant of Producer’s Camp 2021, organized by Taiwan National Theater & Concert Hall. Her latest work is a 9-prompts video poem created as a part of Teater Garasi’s Urfear: Transit Sri Lanka and Vietnam, watchable on: Urfearmpg/transit21
