Director Statement

I filmed "It's Over" for a class at the Cinema Arts Center. It was such a delightful experience and I learned so much from it. I actually missed the class where we chose scripts because I had to take the PSAT so I emailed my script to Barbara Goldman - she shared it with the class and it ended up getting picked! Teen crushes and romances are so often disappointing, I wanted to show a story that people could connect to on a realistic level but could also see as a sweet and supportive story.
