A man wakes up, smells his wife's vagina, and then bleeds a white liquid from his nose while sitting in the kitchen! Soon his wife wakes up, he prepares a green liquid like Caffe, and he drinks it with his dick as his wife is looking at it. Dreams don’t have a synopsis, unfortunately, they just don't make sense. It is a short dream about how a patriarchal family is intertwined with despair and loss.

Director Biography - Navid sh

I was born in 1988 in Rasht, north of Iran. I studied chemical engineering at the University of Tehran and Petroleum Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Turin.
My Story with filmmaking and Cinema began when I was in Iran, in 2008-9 I attended some filmmaking classes at the Iranian National Youth Cinema Center with masters like Abbas Mehranfar, then participated in one of Abbas Kiarostami’s workshops, how to make a simple film, that my first idea and short film born there, spider, and usually it is so magical that you cannot forget it, creating something from nothing, especially when you are Author and believe in Author Cinema.

Director Statement

Every time I must write these kinds of notes I ask myself isn’t it why We make films? To refuse to talk, preach, and generally refuse words. Once my favorite philosopher, Wittgenstein, wrote: “The boundary of our world is the boundary of our language”, so what if I talk to you in another language? The language of images, as cinema, in its purest form has to be this.

Lacan once said: “I am not saying politics is the unconscious but quite simply, the unconscious is politics”. The dreams of Surrealists, nearest to the soul of the unknown, hope to be able to make more of these films.
