Isolation

MICHAEL (30s) sits at home alone, relaxing, when two friends barge in and declare that they are staying with him for a while. His friends invade his entire home, drinking and throwing fits and dragging up memories of Michael’s mother, who he hasn’t heard from in a while. Unable to reach his mother, Michael begins to panic and is about to leave his home when he comes face-to-face with his mother at the door… except she is dead, and has been for a while. It becomes clear to him that Michael’s houseguests were his own grief, fear, and coping mechanisms coming to haunt him.
