Vanessa Beck is a California native and began her filmmaking career as an on-set production assistant on the feature films The Amazing Spiderman, and The Green Hornet. After completing those projects, she became a producer & director assistant working on several studio feature films and tv shows including; X-Men: First Class, X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: Apocalypse, The Internship, Westworld, and Silicon Valley.
Vanessa begin formal filmmaking education through the UCLA Extension program, taking classes in directing, producing, writing, and production finance.
Her first project, Isobelle, which she wrote and directed, has received awards for best short film, best cinematography, best actress, best screenplay, and best first time filmmaker.
