Experiencing Interruptions?

I showed him covid-19

In her experimental short film, “I showed him COVID-19” (2021), Karolina Gliniewicz delves into the uncharted territory of artificial intelligence as a medium for artistic expression. Utilizing computational tools, Gliniewicz crafted a unique database of 1,232 pandemic photos, offering a profound exploration of AI's capacity to generate patterns and respond to input.

Inspired by the universal experience of detachment and separation during the pandemic, Gliniewicz employed AI as a means of translating her personal perspective and emotional journey. The outcome is a mesmerizing and otherworldly experience, pushing the boundaries of traditional art forms and providing a fresh, visionary glimpse into the infinite possibilities of AI as a creative force. With this work, Gliniewicz challenges the conventional and invites us to reconsider the limits of art and technology.
