Director Statement

The story that is told in this film, although horrifying and disturbing in content, is made the more sinister by the performance that Jay Jay brings to the role as he tells it. I had Jay Jay in mind as I wrote this script, which is actually part of a greater project that will be a feature film called 'The Jewel Wasp', so it was such a joy to see him deliver this in a beautifully executed manner. The choice to hold certain angles for long periods of time before cutting away, and using very slow pans and zooms are all employed to help draw the audience into the story.

Producer Statement:
The incredibly talented director, is legally blind, suffering from 'Cone Dystrophy', with 3% vision. A condition he has navigated for 30 years...since age 12
