I was challenged to tell a very beautiful and tender, but dynamic and dramatic story to an outstandingly special audience. Films for the Orthodox community - are a special language, that should be understood, customary and interesting at all times. Since the audience has never seen any of the cinematic product from the outside world.
We've carefully patched dialogues and close-ups with top shots and driving cuts, spectacular costumes, and breathtaking landscapes and facades of fairy castles. We wanted this film to be educational, but emotionally and visually interesting. Like our main hero, Dita had a special secret formula - we've made our own formula of storytelling for our special viewers.
I want these girls who watch those movies to be brave and smart, caring and understanding, keep to family and friends, but follow their dreams - like the heroes they see. I want to surprise them, amaze and in the end inspire them. I want them to be passionate and always learn new. Like our main hero Dita - she saved the day by bringing her knowledge and trusting her guts.
Every spectator can associate themselves with the heroes in this movie and find the answers to their uncertainties - through the values and solutions, we manifest in the story.
