Director Biography - Nishanth R.

Nishanth R. was born in Coimbatore, India, and raised in the nearby metropolis of Chennai. After attending a high school in Chennai (during which time he authored and published a book, 'The Fated Sunset'), he moved to Los Angeles to attend film schools – earning a BA in Film & TV Production and Philosophy at Loyola Marymount University, and then an MFA in Screenwriting at California State University, Northridge.

He works as a director and content strategist for the independent production company Media RED. His feature directorial debut – an Indian thriller titled 'Money Mobile' – is in pre-production, with veteran producer John Altschuler ('Silicon Valley', 'King of the Hill') attached.
