Hello, I'm a passionate filmmaker driven by a love for storytelling and visual expression. Ever since I can remember, I've been captivated by the power of cinema to transport audiences to new worlds and evoke profound emotions. Armed with a camera and boundless creativity, I embark on cinematic adventures, exploring the art of moving pictures with wonder and dedication.

While "Incertae Sedis" is my first short film, my commitment to the craft knows no bounds. I immerse myself in every aspect of the filmmaking process, from directing and cinematography to editing and sound design. Each project is an opportunity for me to push the boundaries of my creativity and bring my unique vision to life on screen.

Director Statement

Essentially Incertae Sedis explores our behavior once we are faced with a choice under psychologically tense situations.
For this project I worked on the script a bit backwards. I wanted all of my characters to be linked to this one physical object, in this case a wooden box and then try to figure out how they are linked to it and to each other.

Once the theme - "choice" was established, I started focusing on the unknown links between all my characters. The script is basically filled with similar situations some of us might have experienced also in our lives.

For me the hardest part was the animated rotoscoped sequences. I had to really dig deep on how one would feel in the same situation as my protagonist. Fear, anger, grief and hopelessness. Thousands of hand drawn frames later, I felt like I have achieved my desired feel and look of that scene.

Apart from very talented cast and crew, I must give a big shout out to the composer for this project. The score by Nelson Olivares really sets the mood for every scene in Incertae Sedis.
