Shivam Jemini, an actor and director from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Amity University, Mumbai. He gained fame with his viral fan-made trailer for "FAN," which caught the attention of Mr. Shah Rukh Khan and led to a job at Red Chillies Entertainment for the film "Jab Harry Met Sejal."
Shivam founded "Daring Ones Films," a production company with a YouTube channel boasting over 16 million views. The channel showcases his acclaimed short films and the zero-budget web series "A Summer Story," "A Winter Story," and "A Monsoon Story." His short film "The Last Class" received accolades at the Navi Mumbai Film Festival and Banjara Film Festival in 2016.
He has also worked at Pinkvilla and was the Chief Assistant Director for the short film "ERROR," which was nominated for the Filmfare Short Film Awards in 2019. In 2020, Shivam debuted as a second lead in the Indo-Hollywood film "MOSAGALLU," alongside Suniel Shetty and Kajal Aggarwal.
This short film is a very personal story. It's something that's been on my mind since I graduated from school. There was a girl in my life who one day left because her family forced her into marriage. Since then, I've wondered what it would be like if we ever met again. This film is inspired by all the memories I have of her. I have tried to recreate our world, our meetings, and the conversations we had, but with a twist at the end.
The ending is something different, making this film a tribute to her and to every girl who is stuck and looking for an escape to be free, to live life, and to love the way she wants.
