This is an imagined story, but all the drawings of the palestinian children are real.

This film was created to give voice to their imagination, their hopes, and their pain.

Director Biography - DIEGO MONFREDINI

Diego Monfredini, filmmaker italiano nato nel 1983, si laurea a Bologna con una tesi sperimentale sul linguaggio cinematografico e la fisica quantistica. Attraverso brevi reportage e cortometraggi sperimentali racconta anche la questione palestinese, il dramma dell’esclusione sociale degli ospedali psichiatrici, la vita dei rifugiati politici, il volontariato degli hospice, il diritto alla casa, lo spopolamento dei borghi e l’emigrazione italiana.

Diego Monfredini, an Italian filmmaker born in 1983, graduated from the University of Bologna with an experimental thesis on cinematic language and quantum physics. Through short reportages and experimental short films, he also explores the Palestinian question, the plight of social exclusion in psychiatric hospitals, the lives of political refugees, hospice volunteering, the right to housing, the depopulation of villages, and Italian emigration.
