Director Statement

Our latest short I'LL BE BACK TOMORROW is a horror film that continues our interests in dream selves, shifting realities, 70’s style genre movies, and indie filmmaking. Using a found location, a tale we heard as children, and a breakneck schedule, we tried to build the kind of late night chiller we grew up watching like the more unnerving episodes of The Twilight Zone. We wanted to touch on relatable themes like deception in adult relationships or the anxiety of young couple in their first home. The challenges of big ideas on a micro budget are reflected in the script itself allowing the actors to carry the dread and horror we were looking for.
