If I Could Touch The Sun

There is a poet who competes in spoken word competitions, but
always come up short. He writes the most beautiÿul pieces, but
memories oÿ his social rejections bubble to the surÿace and
ÿreeze him in place. These ÿailures pile up, addinĀ to the
crushinĀ burden he must carry. Eventually, he Āoes off script
durinĀ a perÿormance, his bottle oÿ emotions eruptinĀ. He has
the perÿormance oÿ a liÿetime. And with this perÿormance, comes
the attention ÿrom the world. He wonders: "what will ÿather think
oÿ this?"
