Director Statement

Isolation is a product of it's own name. Is the result of a spark of inspiration while listening to the song used as the soundtrack for this short film. Totally improvised and shot in one day. Isolation is a drama that takes you on an intimate look and experience my isolation for one day (day 36). Isolation was shot, performed, directed and edited by myself while in Isolation on April 2020 because of the Corona-virus Pandemic. Shot on a Canon 6D and a Samsung Galaxy S9+ mostly only with natural light. Predominantly hued by cold and dark colors, long wide shots, centered framing and very little dialogue to evoke loneliness and isolation. I employed framing in uncomfortable way most of the time as my main tool to keep the audience eye's wondering and engaged. Isolation Is my first film.
