Have you heard of Prosopagnosia? No, it's not some kind of exotic food or some new kind of Italian pizza or some cake, with or without whipped cream. It's a brain disease, consisting of total or partial loss of memory and the inability to recognize the familiar faces of loved ones, spouses or even your own face if you look in the mirror. That's what this movie is about, the protagonist, no longer knowing his own identity, believes that he is Brad Pitt.
