Director Statement

When shooting "I See You", our intention was to create beautiful images that included a foreground element in every shot. We wanted to express the reality of someone being watched and followed while they weren't aware. Corey and I worked together on the script and the concept to use only visuals, rather than dialogue to allow the viewer to witness the stalker. We carefully scouted locations to fit the script, and thought carefully about prop placement such as the headline on the paper our stalker was reading and a book by Edgar Allen Poe as the stalker entered the home. All of the careful considerations and teamwork allow our story to shine through. It was an honor to work with the cast and crew on "I See You".
