Director Biography - Logan Donovan

Logan Donovan grew up in San Anselmo California, just north of San Fransisco. I hold a BFA in Acting from The North Carolina School Of The Arts in Acting. I have lived and worked in Los Angeles and New York City since 2008.

It has been my lifelong dream to be a film Director, writer, and producer in addition to acting. My short film "IRON&DIRT" is my first project in this new direction. I am currently constructing plans for a production company to further my filmmaking dreams.

Director Statement

IRON&DIRT is Donovan's first film as a writer, director, and producer. Having been an actor for 22 years I am now realizing that the time to take the reins as a filmmaker has come. I have always had the creative eye as a photographer to see story in a visual format, and as an actor, I have developed a deep understanding of story and character.
I am currently building the structure and vision for a production company that will put the proper development of story in line with the right supportive collaborators and business plan to make narrative and documentary films that are artistically sound as well as profitable.
I am eager to take IRON&DIRT to whatever festivals will have us to meet other filmmakers and future colaborators!
