I.P.A.S. - Independent Political/Activism Short Film Festival

The festival for 2023 is dedicated to women of today, under the title:

"Women, born or feel this way"

Speak out for all of them, those who were born as women or have been trapped in bodies others than they wished for.

Speak out about their struggles, achievements, social exclusion, maternity vs career, abuse and isolation.

Tell the world what it is to be a woman of today. Let the world know, what they have accomplished and suffered in the patriarchal societies they grew up in.

What is iPitch: iPITCH.TV offers a next-generation platform for creators of original pitches for TV, Film & Digital Media to connect directly with Hollywood Producers and Studio Executives and gives creators industry pro advice on how to pitch a television show or feature film. Pitch your idea for a Movie, Screenplay, Television Show, Short Film, New Media Project and more.

Submission Terms:
- genres: narrative, animation, documentary, student
- English subtitles encoded or with a synchronized .srt file (*even if the spoken language is English)
- Films that air openly on YouTube, Vimeo, etc. will NOT be accepted.
- Film duration of up to 20 minutes for Narrative and Animation. Up to 30 minutes for Documentaries

General Terms:
The i.P.A.S. Film Festival is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.

i.P.A.S. reserves the right to refuse to screen any submission deemed by the Festival Committee to be overly offensive, violent or racist.

You acknowledge the right of our festival to show your movie to audiences during the period of our festival and for any future use within the iPas Film Festival program.

We would not show or promote your movie online or have any legal rights to it.

By submitting your film you accept our terms and conditions.

A festival with a great film program and excellent communication by the festival team. I’m really proud that my film The Unusual Bath of Mister Otmar won the Best Animated Award.
Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus situation I could not attend the festival, but I believe there will be an opportunity in the coming years. This will be an unavoidable festival for my next films.
