Director Biography - Maria Sol, Iiris Huttunen

Maria Sol is a Finland-based filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist working across documentary, performance, and moving image. Her work explores relationships between people, land, and more-than-human worlds through ecological and embodied approaches. She studied directing at the Academy of Moving People and Images and is currently pursuing an MA in Directing at Aalto University. Her films have been shown at Nordisk Panorama, Love and Anarchy Film Festival, and international exhibitions.
