Hypnoesis : A Sound & Vision Experience
After a long work of observation in London, an experimental and visionary concept took shape : A surreal vision of the city, analyzed, filmed and edited by Mickaël Ankri.
5 years in the making, it would then be titled “Hypnoesis” (from sleep to awakening). And in order to bring life and sounds to the visuals, music composer Paolo Carnevali would later join forces.
An intricate and painstaking work of sound design was undertaken, which took hundreds of hours to complete.
Paolo ultimately created one of the most incredible and unexpected film score.
Halfway between a music video and a transcendental experience, the film conveys a mind-blowing depiction of the system.
An alchemical fusion of thoughts, visions and perceptions, through the world of corporations and advertisements.
This great work would after become the foundation of Mickael’s Art Gallery in Pornic, a magical place and den called Wonderland.

Mickael's first movie project "Nekropolice" (2001) was a dystopian vision of the future, very dark in its conception but with a note of hope and a glimpse of light nevertheless. It tackled the never-ending conflict between good and evil, subject which we become more and more familiar in this day and age.
Another project finally sparks in Mickael's mind in 2007, it will later see the light under the name of HYPNOESIS [Sleep and Awakening].
As well as being a Great Work and a Breakthrough, Hypnoesis was completed with the collaboration of intuitive Italian musician Paolo Carnevali in 2012, who composed a groundbreaking soundtrack, with stunning melodies.
The feature length film, 5 years in the making, half-way between video clip and a mystical experience, conveys a surreal depiction of the system. An alchemical fusion of thoughts, vision and perception, through the world of corporations and advertisement, which would later become the foundation of Mickael’s Art Gallery in Pornic, a magical place in France called Wonderland.
This new type of Gallery Concept Space, where 3D images dominates the walls, will be the inspiration for producing new music video projects like "Il était une fois" (Once upon a time) in 2018 and "Break Out!" in 2020.
The inspiration carries on to this day with new musical concept "Beyond Wonderland" fusioning performance, poetry, visuals and sounds.
The key lies within us since the dawn of time... to get to Wonderland, follow the White Rabbit!
"To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour"
