Hunger
Judah's world revolves entirely around dance. A disciplinary and somewhat monotonous life that absorbs you completely and keeps you apart from society.
Rebekah will be her light, her exit door to the outside.
Knowing her will lead Judah to her most animal part and to the search for her true self, giving free rein to her deepest appetites.
After an intense rehearsal, Judah awakens an irremediable desire for Rebeca, her recent dance partner in the company where she works. Rebeca's insistence will lead them to a sentimental approach, this will lead to a much more intimate encounter between them.
The excitement of the moment mixed with the smell of Rebekah will give free rein to a part of Judah that he himself did not know. Something would wake up inside him that remained hidden, a predator wanting Rebeca's flesh, to drag him to devour her like an animal.
Such events will push Judah to search for that inner part, hitherto unknown, for a world of irremediable desire, irremediably addressing cannibalism. In his mind, the image of an animal that eats women will take shape.
Judah's life will turn into night and day, into a double life that will share the world of dance that fills him so much, with the pursuit of pleasure by eating raw meat from his victims.
After Judah's self-confirmation as the predator he is, having tasted raw meat, the reverse will seem unattainable.
Javier, a new dancer from his dance company, will cross his path.
Javier will get Judah to rethink his entire universe completely and get carried away by a feeling he had never experienced towards anyone. The doubts and desire about Javier, both sentimental and carnal, will lead our character to a state of catharsis, dragging Javier to the most irrational sacrifice.

With a degree in Design and training in Post-Production and Film Direction, I have worked at several renowned production companies such as Telson, Globomedia, Boomerang TV, Signo Producciones, The Tracker Company, and The Room VFX. Throughout my career, I have held roles as a post-producer and creative, gaining extensive experience in the industry.
My career in the documentary world includes several notable projects for RTVE's Documentos TV, where I have directed, scripted, and photographed. My first feature film, HAMBRE, an independent horror film project, has garnered numerous awards in the genre festival circuit.
I am currently the director of the post-production company The Room VFX, where I serve as creative director and VFX designer on numerous television series and programs, including: Los Protegidos, El Inmortal, Las Largas Sombras, Entre Tierras, La Caza, Estoy Vivo, Inés del Alma Mía, and many more.
I recently founded the production company THE ROOM FILMS, where, as CEO, I develop fiction projects for film and television alongside my team. We're currently finishing the feature film "LILY'S RITUAL."
Above all, the film Hunger is a combination of artistic disciplines: film, dance, painting, photography, music…
Hunger will be created with a carefully crafted image. Even in the film's most difficult moments, the light will be worked on like a canvas, seeking the most beautiful composition. Music is a very important factor, another character in the story. With all of this, we will convey the most intense feelings, blending the world of film with dance in a very artistic way.
Likewise, painting plays a very important role, both in the story and in the film's artistic direction.
An air of contemporary art surrounds the entire project and encompasses all these artistic disciplines.
In this story, we will embark on a journey with Judah, which will take us to the incessant search of human beings to find their place in the world, a reason for their very existence, which in certain cases can lead us to unusual places and to do unthinkable things, although always justified in a thousand ways.
This search for his inner self will take us into the most animal part of human beings, into their basic instincts. Judah will reach the depths of that animal part, embracing it, understanding it, and of course, reaffirming it.
A solitary journey of continuous discovery throughout the story.
Judah's dramatic journey through life undoubtedly reflects basic aspects of human beings in general, such as loneliness, which is driven by the type of society we live in, with large cities, packed with people, all unaware of one another. There is no loneliness worse than when you are surrounded by people everywhere, feeling lost, excluded, and consequently, shutting yourself away, making it impossible to go outside.
The desire to find someone who will help us climb out of this existential pit makes us go from one person to another looking for something that will let us see the light, something almost impossible since we cannot climb out of our pit solely on the energy of others. We are the ones who lock ourselves in, and we ourselves must pull ourselves out. Our character will find that light in Rebecca, beginning a search that will gradually sink him deeper, until he reaches rock bottom.
Love, when it first appears, is above all due to its power and irrationality. It completely absorbs you, you can hardly think of anything else, and it can even be physically painful. Everything changes, everything revolves around it, it makes life stop, and until it's over, you can't go on. Naturally, it never completely disappears; a trace of that love stays with you forever and accompanies you throughout your life.
Love and heartbreak create us, shape us throughout our lives, making us stronger, weaker, more distrustful, reaffirming us as people, little by little, step by step.
Judah will go through all the stages. The lack of love will carry him through the story, creating doubts about himself, about what he is, about who he believes he is, as it would for anyone in a world so lacking in love and filled with so many prejudices, especially those we discover within ourselves.
Exploring all these dramatic states directly related to life itself, to our own existence, and planting a seed for all kinds of questions to emerge is something we seek with this story: to stir the viewer's consciousness a little.
The context for the story, where the characters and actions unfold, is the world of dance, which will encompass the entire universe of Judah's journey toward discovery and self-destruction. Generating a narrative within the story with a very precise tempo and a carefully crafted and delicate image will be a premise of the story, all thanks to dance, which is not only the context but also the expressive starting point of the entire film.
The engine that drives all these mechanisms and leads us to the most extreme situations, a very important point in the story, is cannibalism, to which Judah will be hopelessly driven.
Judah will encounter a completely animal part of himself, guided simply and basically by his instincts. Inside him, a battle rages between the animal and rational parts, a fierce struggle.
Ultimately, victory will go to his most animal part, connecting that part directly with the rational, rationalizing his actions coherently and thus creating a pattern of the perfect victim or prey, in his case. A basic pattern for the profile of serial killers.
Speaking more psychologically, the brain is divided into three fundamental parts. The reptilian part houses basic instincts such as eating, sleeping, breathing, and killing. The feeling part governs empathy, love, hate, and so on. And finally, there is the learning part, which rules over the others and basically tells us what to do.
