How to make f**kd up Movies
An Indian filmmaker arrives in USA to make a movie about his friend Christopher Annino's neurological disabilities . A
global pandemic maroons the filmmaker in USA for five months.
The filmmaker didn’t have much of a choice, but to keep filming with an ensemble cast of an Christopher's friends which includes a scientist turned belly dancer, a wall building military veteran, neurotic clergyman,
Mormon comedian, LGBTQ musicians, pro wrestlers, a porn star and Fulltime dreamers .
The perfect recipe for a f##ked up movie.
A genre bending movie, about, life movies ,whoopie cushions,
nervous breakdowns and metaphysics; not necessarily in that order.

I’ve been trying to make this movie for the past 6 years.
Chris worked with as my first AD in 2008 for my first American feature.
Since then, he kept coming back to me with this idea of making a movie about his life.
Initially we planned make it as a documentary titled “Fixing Chris”. A movie about how society is trying fix a human being, about how he should live ,speak etc.
It was a disaster. I felt the movie “fixing Chris” was very forced and skewed. I shelved the movie.
one Year later, I decided to tackle it from another perspective. Planned meticulously and went back to USA to shoot it.
After 2 weeks, USA had a lock down and I was stuck with Chris for five months. Making a movie with no budget, no proper crew and with people who are mentally challenged during a pandemic, took me to verge of nervous breakdown.
Looking back, I am grateful. The film helped me give a better perspective of life, tolerance and forgiveness. When I started laughing at the stupid things I did, while trying to make this movie; I felt better. At least I got some answers to some troubling questions about life and art.
