This is a semi-autobiographical film about the relationship between me and my deceased grandmother, who often came off as emotionally turbulent due to her dementia. She would quietly weep in her room for no apparent reason, and the room would give off a smell of the ocean. I was not able to understand her emotional instability as a child until long after her passing I realized how much she cared about me. I noticed that everytime I think of her, woeful memories would engulf me like ocean waves and bring me to tears, and I find this shared trait of sentimentality something that ties us together. Dedicated to my grandmother, this film is in fact a remedy for my remorse.
