The Quiet Hour, The Practice That Changed Everything
For the past five years, I’ve made a daily habit of waking up at 5 a.m.—not to chase perfection, but to make space. In those early morning hours—before the emails, the deadlines, and the noise—I read, journal, sketch ideas, and sometimes just sit with the sunrise.
A privilege to be sure.
That quiet hour has become a sacred space where my most authentic ideas take root. Inspiration is always around us, but we have to make room for it. Even fifteen minutes a day can change everything—if we show up consistently, creativity will rise to meet us. We just have to be willing to listen.
That’s how this all began. That practice. Over time, I began to notice a pattern in the kinds of stories I wanted to tell, the characters I was drawn to, the themes that kept surfacing. That was my voice taking shape.
The White Board became my compass. It gave me a place to visual my ideas in one space. This workshop, is an invitation to do the same: to honor your voice, trust your curiosity, and give yourself permission to start before you’re ready.
Let’s begin.
"Screens are a tool. Billions of people have access to screens. We have a wonderful opportunity as artists to create the change we want to see in the world through the stories that we tell."
This workshop is for anyone working in any corner of the industry—behind the lens or in front of it—actors, writers, producers, cinematographers, directors, editors, and beyond—who’s carried an idea for too long and is finally ready to bring it to life.”
