The film explains the complex experiences of teenage girl Zulfiya. It reveals the complicated relationship of a girl, a bride and a grandmother. Her mother has to work in the city, and Zulfiya lives in the village with her grandmother. The girl wants to go to the city, to be closer to her mother.

Director Biography - Umid Khamdamov

In 2005 graduated from Tashkent State Institute of Arts as a film director. Education was under the guidance of Professor Shukhrat Abbosov – famous Soviet and Uzbek film director, screenwriter, film actor, teacher, People's Artist of the USSR, People's Artist of Uzbekistan.

From 2005 to 2008, started carrier as chief director of mass cultural events in the Navoi city (Uzbekistan) where he staged a number of plays such as: “Othello” - Shakespeare, “One day of my dreams”, “Country without snow”, “Mischief of the mischievous”, “People from the cave” and “Bachelors”.
For staging the play “Beshik Tuyi” (the folklore-ethnographic ensemble “Sardoba”) in 2007 was awarded with Grand Prix in “Bow to Samarkand” competition, dedicated to the 2,700th anniversary of the city.

Enrolling his Master’s in 2008, he began teaching acting skills to students of the drama department in State Institute of Art and Culture.

In 2010, together with “Youth Creative Studio-5” production studio, he shot his first short film “Nazar” that brings him a lot of feedbacks and fame among film cinema lovers.

In 2019 was recognized as the best director for the film “Issiq non” (Hot bread) in State competition “EKHTIROM”.
In 2019 film “Issiq non” (Hot bread) was awarded as the best script film in “OLTIN HUMO” Annual National Award.
In 2019 film “Issiq non” (Hot bread) got 3 Awards in “Kinoshok” International Film Festival in Russia as:
1. Grand Prix as the best film
2. Best Actress
3. Best Music
