Lily Andrews, 18, is a Greek-American filmmaker and screenwriter from Seattle, WA, and a film student at Chapman University. With a background in improv and sketch writing, she brings a comedic lens to everything she does, whether she’s writing, directing, or performing. Her work leans into humor as a way to explore connection, nuance, and the absurdities of everyday life. She aspires to be a professional showrunner, director, and screenwriter.
My mom is a woman who loves her hot tub... like, a lot. That love inspired me to make Hot Tub Horror Story and put a hot tub at the center of a comedy-horror slasher film (bit of a vibe switch, I know). I love comedy because it gives us a way to release, escape, and explore different aspects of life. This film came from a genuine place of fun — every part of making it, from writing to directing to post, was a total joy. I’m so grateful to everyone who helped bring this project to life.
