The community of Drokpa (pastoral nomads) who live as refugees in this remote part of India has gathered for the annual birthday celebration of the Dalai lama.
Through a young nomad, we learn about the changing time they live in. More exclusively, this film is about the beautiful animal "rTa", Known in English as the horse.

Director Biography - Tsering Wangmo


Tsering Wangmo is a Tibetan filmmaker from Ladakh, India. She is an alum of New York University where she completed her graduate program specializing in News and documentary film production. Currently she is pursuing a PhD in anthropology with a joint graduate program in Film and Media Studies at Washington University in St Louis.
