Hope For The Holidays (30 mins)

This participatory documentary follows the mission of two men devoted to bringing hope to families and individuals with difficult circumstances in every US state during the holidays. Dressed as Santa’s helpers, Yuri and Rodney will bless animal shelters, homes with special needs, and more this holiday season by providing gifts and devoting time to hear the stories of these individuals. Driving through everything from snow storms in remote landscapes to the weathered side streets of major cities, doors will open across America to two men committed to bringing hope for the holidays.

Director Biography - Nathan Cribari, Yuri Williams

After years volunteering with homeless shelters, animal rescues, and community outreaches; I decided to merge my growing experience of professional video production with my passion for humanitarian work. Every time I hit record, ask a question, or hit render my goal is the same: to give the viewer access to a side of the world they haven't seen, and to elevate the voices of those unheard. For every moment shared of a stranger in need, there's a context of curiosity and a respect for their honesty as I ask people to allow me to step into their world for a day.

In 2022, I spent a month living and learning with two humanitarians committed to serving communities across America. This documentary is the pilot for a limited docuseries sharing the stories of the families, shelters, and survivors I met.
