Riley James is a student filmmaker based in Manhattan New York. He started making movies as young as nine years old on a mini DV camcorder. With a developing interest in editing, writing and directing, he began studying film at The School of Visual Arts, NYC.
Riley continues to express himself creatively in ways that are authentic to himself, whether that be film, acting, painting or music.
I was really fascinated with the privilege I have in my relationship with my mother to be able to "say the quiet part out loud" when it comes to challenges in our relationship. I wanted to explore the moment in which a mother and daughter experience this for the first time and finally have a very difficult conversation.
