Al Zaher - Director and Screenwriter
Artistic Training: Taken courses by CCC (Cinematographic Training Center), Section of Directors of the Union of Cinematographic Production Workers.
In 2009, his first short film "the essay" was selected in Expresión en Corto, now the Guanajuato International Film Festival. And it was broadcast on Tvunam along with an interview. With his next short film HOMOFOBIA, along with “the essay”, he was selected at the Festival Mix Sexual Diversidad en Cine y Video in Mexico City. In addition to touring various states of the country with "Cineteca Va". Later together with other filmmakers they make up the Guanajuato Collective Cinema. And in which he makes his third short film "Solus Ipse" within the KinoRoom 48hrs Rally. Later and with members of the same group, he performed "the other cheek." And "the origin of all time." Which have been screened at conferences with universities such as La Salle, Ibero, Tec de Monterrey, just to mention a few. And they have been screened on some television channels. His short film "Perdón" made at the Lab // KinoRoom was selected in the GIFF, Festival Mix of Sexual Diversity in Film and Video, in the OUTFEST Peru 2017 LGTB Film Festival, and has just been censored in Ipiales, Festival de Cine sin Borders in Colombia. It was screened at the Cineteca Nacional and the El Chopo Museum. Most of his filmography has been part of Contemporary Art Festivals. His new short film “Clases de Moral” will be another short film that will be subject to censorship for its high content of violence and its burden of reality.
