Guzman, officially known as Cheruiyot Amos Byegon, is mainly a Film Director, specifically a Creative Director, but also does all in filmmaking, ranging from producing, screenwriting, camera operation, editing, lighting, to sound engineering. Besides, he is certified as a dubber, subtitler, and transcriber by the Kenya Film Commission. He is best known for his debut "Campus Diaries" web series film released in 2019 which he wrote and directed. That is his first film. His short film "The Click" won the Foxton Film Awards-Universities Edition in 2021, which was themed "Security is my responsibility". He also won 'Best Editor' for "Kwani Si Kesho?" short film in the Filamu International Film Festival that took place in Multimedia University in 2021. In addition, he won 'Best Photographer' in the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology Multimedia and Development Festival 2021. Moreover, he was the overall winner under Communication Category in the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology Multimedia and Development Festival 2021 (JKUAT MDF 2021). He has written and produced over 24 films so far, which are available on his YouTube channel "Guzman Pictures". Furthermore, he is a visual artist, proficient at graphics designing, motion graphics, conceptual photography, and videography. He is also a statistician by profession, graduated Bachelor of Science in Statistics (B.Sc. Statistics) from Jomo kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) on 28th June, 2022.
