This extraordinary film takes us on a poignant and potent “One Home Journey” to several key hotspots around our home planet, and into our own homes and hearts. It explores how, individually and collectively, we can transform our divided world and co-create an inclusive and regenerative future for all beings.

The movie tells the story of the initiation and rise of the Home for Humanity movement. In an unending "Quest for Humanity", it follows the life of the two visionaries Alexander Schieffer and Rama Mani building, together with pioneers from diverse cultures, this earth-spanning transformative movement of humanity in unity.

Director Biography - Eda Elif Tibet

Dr.Eda Elif Tibet is an award winning documentary filmmaker and an anthropologist. She is a postdoctoral researcher at the Wyss Academy for Nature at the University of Bern. She is part of a transdisciplinary research project "Bridging Values" that is funded by the EU BIODIVERSA + and the Swiss National Science Foundation.She leads her own independent applied research initiative "Animating the Commons" hosted at UniBern’s Critical Sustainability Unit.
She is the founder of KarmaMotion through which she produce award winning doc films together with her film collective since 2011. She has directed, filmed and produced 8 award winning documentary films : Home for Humanity (2024), Our Common(s) Story (2024), Awakening a Fairy Tale (2024), Ait Atta: Nomads of the High Atlas (2020), Ballad for Syria (2017), Refugee Here I Am (2015), Hey Goat! (2014) , AMCHI (2013), 28 Days on the Moon (2012). She is currently preparing and working towards her first fiction film (forthcoming, 2027).
Her films circulated in more then 100 film festivals around the world and broadcast on TVs , Big Screen and Digital Streaming Platforms (ARTE TV, NatGeo, IZ TV , TRT, Habitat TV, CNN, NTV, BBC , AlJazeera).
She is also the founder and director of EthnoKino Film Festival since 2020, that happens in Bern, Mexico City, Berlin, Punta Arenas , Marrakech and Cappadocia.
