Director Statement

This film was born out of the need to share the struggle of those who feel they can’t be heard. People are pushed out of their communities every day, aided by the greed of those with money and the power that they pay for. Laws aren’t always just, and sometimes people snap when they’re pushed into a corner. This happened in the Co-writer and cinematographer, Jordan Miller’s town of Maplewood, NJ, and we knew we had to tell this story - of an elderly woman down on her luck, pushed out of her house, and how she came to terms with it in a blast of fury.
