Matthew is currently a film student, studying directing and producing in Southern California (2018). He is known for his short films, "From Dust," (2018) and "Speaking Out," (2018). Currently he is working on the feature film, "Class of 2018 B.C." (2018), by Ben Escobar. Inspired by long form cinema, Matthew is working on his own feature film, "Lost-Angeles." Influenced by the work of many great directors and cinematographers, Matthew has tremendous appreciation and love for early and independent cinema. Matthew's unique style of film derives from the genres of drama, action, and experimental.
This film is a love letter to those who grow up in families with verbal and physical abuse. Everything from the production design, the shot selection, and even the lighting in the scene, tell an emotional story of what the characters are feeling in the moment.
