Director Statement

Hollywood on the Streets” was born from my experience navigating Los Angeles as both an immigrant actress and an outsider. I became fascinated by the fragile line between ambition and survival, performance and authenticity, dreams and emotional exhaustion.

Through the series, I wanted to capture the invisible emotional landscape behind the entertainment industry — especially through the eyes of artists and immigrants searching for belonging inside a city built on illusion. The loneliness, reinvention, uncertainty and fleeting beauty beneath Hollywood’s surface became central to the project.

As someone transitioning from acting into filmmaking, this series also became a personal exploration of identity and storytelling. The camera transformed into a way of observing not only the city around me, but also the many versions of myself that emerged while trying to build a life far from home.
