Flynn Alberry is 22-years-old and was born and raised in Swanage, Dorset. From an early age he had a keen interest in reading and writing, and this passion eventually led to him discovering screenwriting at the age of 15. As this hobby grew, Flynn became more and more fascinated with films and filmmaking, leading him to pursue a degree in Film Production at Bournemouth Film School. He has just completed his second year of studies specialising in Directing & Producing. Some of his favourite directors and influences include Paul Thomas Anderson, Martin Scorsese, Jim Jarmusch and Lynne Ramsay. His favourite film of all time is Paper Moon.
Over the past eighteen months, we have all experienced what it’s like to be stuck indoors. His Struggle references these challenging times that we have all gone through – we know what it’s like to go slowly mad in isolation. His Struggle looks at this in a cinematic way, attempting to get into the psyche of someone driven insane by their own ambitions and impending fate, all in the space of a single room.
