His Forbidden Sword
This is for every person who has ever read a romantasy novel and is still waiting for a tall, dark, morally grey man to come sweep them off their feet. Here we find Farrah waiting for her hero, but instead she gets Reese.

Since coming to LA, I have had the honor of working as the lead actress on several feature films the last few years, "Picture Perfect Lies," "Love at the Lodge,” and "Angel Mountain." I can also be seen in other short films, TV roles, and commercials. As a first time filmmaker, I decided to branch out and start creating my own projects! "His Forbidden Sword" is only just now entering the festival circuit, and I have two other projects I am developing. I am a creator at heart, and I hope to work with other people who have a deep desire to dream, create, and collaborate.
Despite the fact that romance novels are one of the fastest growing genres, it is looked down upon as a "lesser than" type of book. People make fun of women that read romance novels, with shirtless men and swooning women on the covers. Most claim they have no literary value and the men are unrealistic. I ask what is in the books that people really mock? Is it that the women are strong and opinionated? That the men give 100% and don't hold back? Or that we don't like women acknowledging that they are also sexual creatures? Is it really so wrong for a woman to want the absolute best out of her partner? Or have we lowered our expectations to just the bare minimum? To be clear, we aren't expecting someone to slice the head off of our enemy. However, we are waiting for someone who will fight for us, support us, and love us no matter what. (Though... bonus points if they also happen to be an ancient fae prince who has fallen hopelessly in love with us.)
I also made this to prove to myself that I didn't have to wait for the perfect story to tell before I could make something "meaningful." I was in a silly, goofy mood and made a silly, goofy movie. And I believe that is how creating should be. Making something for the sake of creation, not because it will make me money or make me famous, but because being on set with wonderful people is the best place I could ever hope to be. And because we could all use a good giggle now and then.
